The Legislative Spending Report

Special Feature: Sunday, August 01, 2010

The North Dakota Policy Council is proud to release the Legislative Spending Report, which is designed to provide citizens with spending information about their state legislators. The report is published for one major reason: citizens demand it. Citizens want to know how legislators are voting.  The report shows the percentage of overall spending that each legislator voted against.  If your legislator has a low percentage, they voted for most of the spending proposals that came across their desk.  If they have a high percentage, they actually voted against a sizable amount of spending.
